I think the next patch should be focused on community complaints.

Things like

-performance
-Assault rifles being handed out like candy
-Misaligned tank sights
-lockdown being removed or optional for servers (including ranked)

and tons of other things we have been asking for

we can only hope for! when announced, the game promised 3 difficulties...still haven't really got the difference between them..maybe now is the time to implement them fully?

RO2:SDK 1st goal!

RO2:SDK 1st goal!

No, terrible ideal!

First finish and release the final version of the RO2:SDK! Then people can start truly working on new maps. then in about 60 days we will hit a pinnacle of new maps coming online and Tripwire working out all the bugs, problems and details.

Great ideas, anyone that doesnt agree with that are wrong and should go back to play COD and stop slowing down the improvement for this game. :)

All of our patches are focused on community complaints. Some fixes however are easier then others. When we get enough of them together we push out a patch.

Sorry guys, but Yoshiro is right.

Everytime when a specific complaint is most prolific, they focus their patching efforts on that.

Just because performance isn't perfect yet, (I still experience stutter with automatic weapons) doesn't mean they're not focusing on community suggestions, everything they've done has been about that.

Thankfully the game is created by a group of designers and not the community. Just imagine what kind of game we would of gotten otherwise.

so you're saying that community created games are trash? crawl under your rock and learn history, ro1 started as community created content, and twi wasn't always a "group of designers". it's easy to forget and bow to the almighty dollar..until it bites you in the ***, that is.

No, I'm just saying that people always want games made how they want it. Imagine how games would be if every developer caved into everyone's demands.

Also, the fact that the managed to take a mod into a full-fledged game shows a lot of creativity and talent on their part. It's not the same as taking a full-fledged game and just modding it. I mean the most innovative thing I remember at the time when RO was on UT2004 was being able to lean around corners.

I would just like to see more server side options like the ability to limit unlocks or classes weapon load outs.Along with lockdown timers and pretty much all the things people fuss about in these forums. That way the blame could be placed on servers instead of the devs and they could concentrate on a smaller range of problems and equal more production for their time.

I really like the core game play it has great potential.Personally I would just like to see more options on ranked servers with realism vs relaxed realism .Even goin as far as being able to control the amount of sway and more realism type options.

By doing this they could pretty much make everyone happy for each server would run a slightly different style of game mode and, everyone could find one that suits their style of play.

It's funny how you go like "You must agree with this or gtfo, my opinion is so obviously right that yours MUST be wrong", whether or not you're right is not the point. But the disrespect towards other opinions than your own is just ironic because I don't consider that to be an "improvement for this game".

Thankfully the game is created by a group of designers and not the community. Just imagine what kind of game we would of gotten otherwise.

I agree with you more or less, I think blaming the entire community is too generic. I would probably phrase it more something like "Thankfully the game is created by patient developers rather than the impatient voices within the community"
