I soloed KF-foundry HOE 4 waves yesterday, as a LV3 shotgunner.

Commando : Isnt really a commando now is he... Since he only takes out the trash. A real Commando could prob kill a fleshpound with a knife. No...the Commando is actually the Support.

Support : Wouldnt a Support class give a little more "support" in terms of gameplay? Sure he welds...but other then that he does the same thing as the Commando atm. Shouldnt a RL support use pipebombs/heal people?

Ergo...the class names in KF are a bit silly anyway...so why not let the guy call it a "shotgunner"....makes actually more sense then the term "Support" lol.

Weapons need to be realistic, Zeds need to be named appropriately, endless debates about a gun that in real life takes down a fcking elephant. Folk need to see what this game is all about. Also, there's a difference between abbreviating a name and changing it. I can go into detail if you need me to.

Again, I don't get the relevance to the situation. I'm not saying anything about realism or comparing the game to real life. I'm talking about creating names for things ingame which already have names, which causes confusion.

It's a throwaway comment that people referring to supports as shotgunners annoys me. It's a fact, I wasn't making a big thing out of it, Utopia didn't make a big thing about it. It's you that's doing that, and I don't think it's me who's creating drama here. Also, if you start an argument, actually keep to the topic please, rather than bringing in your own baggage about other things that annoy you.

If I remember correctly, you can get the achievement for hellride whilst only doing 4 waves instead of the usual 10.

And Icecave as well.

Cool story though, op. I never even went into Suicidal prior to level 6 in whatever class I was playing at the time (though, I never entered beyond hard until all my perks were level 6). You can solo as a lower level, but any server with votekick will get you barred for even trying below level 5, most including level 5.

The only maps I solo'd on HoE were Hellride, Icecave, Crash, Manor and Abusement Park. I believe I did Hellride, Icecave and Crash as a zerk, then manor and abusement park as a support.

As for the SS thing, I always refer to sharpie as the SS, and suppie as the SP.

SharpShooter, SuPport SPecialist, blah blah.
