Well, you get the same thing in BFBC2, probably the CoD games as well ragarding grenades and such. Some of the other lines, like telling a team mate to get down (and then seeing them get shot, because they didn't get down!) are a bit more unique and interesting.

I agree, it's really awesome. I was playing a commander earlier today and the enemy called arty near us, my "character" then said: Ok, here comes the artillery, stay calm and find cover.

I was like wow thats so freaking cool lol.

Great feature, adds to immersion. And it's informative about your situation.

this is one of the best things about the game.

Something that has been missing from war games for such a long time. It adds so much more immersion.

Bad company 2 does this, and man it created awesome atmosphere.

The bests games to do this stuff are without a doubt Company of Heroes, and Dawn of war 2. They take audio to the next level with banter.

I cant wait to level my guys up and hear the different things they say. As recruits they are often speaking in scared voices, and unsure of themselves. I cant wait to be a grizzled veteran and telling my fellow troops to keep low and we will all make it etc.

Major props to Tripwire for this.

"Weapons. Check your ammo and weapons."

"Keep your heads down. I don't want anybody getting shot."

I play always as squad leader and that is what I hear, often.

I find it very intense to enter the bottom floor of a building and hear heavy bootsteps and the enemy voices upstairs, or when I'm defending a location and I hear enemies creeping around outside. Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Me gusta.

Uhh I'm not so certain the avatars specifically talk to each other. Purely coincidental.

Couldn't agree more. It's a fantastic part of the game.

I agree! The "small talk" between the soldiers is awesome!
For instance, if ive been exposed for an enemy, and then I hide behind cover (that mean we both know there is an enemy there), then i often use the Taunt voice command xD

It`s really great, didn`t see this in another game.

Bad Company 2 had this.

I really like it, sometimes it is used against you, but I think that, in general, I use it for the best more frequently. I don't understand how some people don't even listen to gun shots and dying teammates, it's just absurd.
