I love RO2 but this is one thing that makes me kind of mad. I made a video with me playing with two different resolutions on ultra and lowest graphic settings. The frame rate on both video are the same. I have a link right here to the video.

Tripwire, dont be saying its my hardware. - YouTube

My PC
---------
AMD Phenom II 1075T
Nvidia GTX 560
6 Gigabyte DDR3
PSU = 750w

Now I don't mean to bash tripwire, that's one thing I do not want to do, but I have more then above recommended system requirements. There may not be hex-core optimization, but I still no that this shouldn't be taking away the performance of the game from me. I am only able to play this game on lowest if I actually wanna play. Recommend system specs should at least be able to play on medium settings on this game but I can. This is really frustrating.

It sucks :(

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the *60 cards of Nvidia. I mean on the side it show F:3%, when I play other games that's at like 30%.

We've already admitted to a bottleneck at the CPU. The issue this creates, is that your GPU is then starved of information.

We are working to fix it. The fact we need to fix it is not lost on us.

I really hope tripwire looks at this post. I mean I can barley play their game :(

Mine is playable, barely but yours is quite messed up. I have both my 460s clocked to the 560ti speeds. I'm seeing more gpu usage out of my rig..about 30-40%. Don't blame your rig thought its tripwires fault

Things are definitely improving as far as GPU usage is concerned. My GPU usage around release time would hover @ 30 -40%, and now it's 65-75%. Although my CPU usage remains @ 40-55%

I don't understand how you are benchmarking the game in your video on youtube.

Are you seriously doing a benchmark with fraps recording the video at the same time or are you using a 2nd PC recording the first one video output?
Because FRAPS eats your CPU when rendering videos. Plus it puts a limit on your framerate (prob 60fps MAX, unless you changed it).

Moreover, you aren't recording the same same again & again, it is very different everytime and so you can't compare the impact of the settings on your framerate.

And last but not least, you aren't running the lowest settings on your "low" settings :)

So please, can you try harder&better the next time?

I'm trying to say that even at a low resolution I still get horrible fps when I should be getting way better fps! Sorry I should have but I wanted to rush and upload before I went uptown.

Whoa i feel for you man. That's horrible performance.

Just to try to help.. In another thread i read that if you have Asus Gamer OSD installed, you got all sorts of video driver problems. Uninstalling that solves a trunkload.

Just to add to the list, I currently have a GeForce 210 - 4Gig, which isn't the greatest, but I have my resolution set to one of the lowest settings and plays decently.

However, regardless of whether or not I set the game to low quality settings, high or even Ultra settings, my frame rate is always around 15-20 fps.

Specs:
Intel Core i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz
8GB of RAM
Windows 7 64-Bit Operating System
Nvidia GeForce 210 - 4GB of RAM

So since there seemed to be zero difference towards my FPS's, I just left my settings to ultra.

Though I'm not too bothered by playing a game at 15 fps, as I remember playing TFC way back with about the same FPS, on Hardware graphics, 320x240 resolution & on a 33.6k modem...... and stilled kicked arse, it'd be nice to improve that a little bit more.

I still will be upgrading my video card eventually when I get money to do so, but yeah, once this CPU bottleneck is resolved, I imagine I can see a good boost in performance once that's been done..... I've already seen some performance increases over the last week or so due to other patches, but nothing directly related to my FPSs.
