I have the idea of a new PERK. (Sabotage or Saboteur)

consists of a soldier capable of sabotage, can actually be very useful and effective, perhaps the use of mines, tnt conmtrol activated by remote, or use electricity or electrical fences, do not quite understand but could devise many things, use of electric batons, the use of traps. any idea is unnecessary. if someone comes up with something else, it will be well received.......................

with sabotage i more or less think about:

slowdown effects,
make them take extra dmg,
pour gasoline over em to make em burn longer,
EMP grenades to stop cloaks, chainsaws, drills, anything electric (including FP rage meter) to stop working for a while,
place traps/acid on the floor so specimens have to walk over it and loose health (or slowdown) to get to you.

this class would prolly use stunning weapons (stun-rifles) and act as a supportive class.

i personally feel this to be a great way to fill up the role of the support class

would be very good for this perk, it is difficult to raise their experience, might not be so easy to play to level up so fast, but it cost you, say it costs as much as you level with the command,

We already have all the perks that this game really needs. They just need to be differentiated a bit more so they actually play the roles they were intended.

Besides most of these suggestions require a radical retooling of how the game works, or at least some work on enemy AI and trap-style weapons. Pipe bombs have been a contentious addition since they were released, but may finally fit nicely into the game after update 1016.

Even then they don't add much to the gameplay formula. A new specimen would be a more welcome addition than this.

I think they should make like a heavy class (sorry if it copies TF2). Like they should have three weapons similar to these:

P90(tier 2)

Para copying from Counter-Strike: Source(tier 2)

Then for tier 3 it can be something similar to the patriarch's chaingun on his arm but of course a little weaker

Then they have to deal damage somewhat like other class to gain xp for the perk. Level 5 they start with P90 and level 6 they start with P90 and armor. If the para and the chaingun seem too much then two weapons are still not that bad, making it similiar to how many weapons the firebug has to use.

I'm going with no on this one, the game play style doesn't really lend itself to sabotage style game play, remember that you've been dropped into the preverbal S*** and shouldn't have time to build an impregnable fort.

a heavy class would be pretty bad, even though an LMG does sound appealing.

but making a random perk that can walk around with a SAW/M60 at level 6 would be a little .... yea... over the top. (note that an m60 bullet can rip off limbs if shot at the right place)

also, the perks are pretty balanced out right now, adding another heavy long range class would ruin it (especially for zerker)



i rather see TW build out these perks some more, give them more fun ways to play ... (add 42 perk levels and some option to have 10000 specimens spawn per wave)

I believe the saboteur, to carry out their sabotage would have to run so to speak a bit fast, but not as the Zerker speed 10% or 5% faster with any weapon or weapons only with their corresponding perk

I think from my point of view, the chaingun or machinegun would say so to perk of belonging to the support, are specialist weapons in artillery support, when the sharp not all specimens can enter that specialist support to stop with all specimens, while welding a door

would be good to make a mutator, with this perk, do not say that they do default, to try to see that this serious, their comfort, their advantages and disadvantages ...

No. We do not need any more perks. Judging from your traps, you'd be ...... for lack of a better word, pinning down specimens and allowing your teammates to do the killing. Furthermore, the Saboteur perk you suggest can be completely rendered pointless if I ask you this simple question.

Why aren't you choosing another perk and helping your team kill the specimens?

The Saboteur perk is like the Sydney Sleeper from TF2. It applies Jarate on enemies and allows your teammates to mini-crit them to death. Big whoop-de-doo, why not spare your teammates the entire fuss by simply using the vanilla Rifle and headshotting them yourselves?

It's like hiring a handymen to help you fix a broken lightbulb when you already had all the tools available and could fix it yourself. It's an additionally pointless move.

The only reason I could see this being implemented is so it weakens the Fleshpounds and Scrakes. But then again, you could always have another way more useful perk contributing to the team.

The "ally boost" thing would make things too easy. In a tight spot? No problem! I'll just give everyone a kit and they all suddenly have legit godmode weapon boosts for a short duration of time.

Also, constantly calling your idea "good" isn't going to make it good.

Yes, you claimed various times that your idea is simply the most fantastic thing that has ever happened to the world ever since Rickroll.

I think that all these ideas are very good, and have not despised desert idea, the idea of the claymore, and sabotage the specimens is very good, they were as well the use of electricity and electric weapons.
Any special weapon "?, This perck is a very, very good idea!.
Keep reviewing and continue to support this noble and new cause.
