I don't care about any of the other guns I reccommended! really...they would be nice...but we need to MP-40 for the US pointman and also NVA/NLF scout

why? because the Mp-40 can bu used for both sides and is a two for one

The grease gun. it's great! (but not really) this is because the sights are possibly even worse than the sights of the old type 99 SMG from rising storm 1. The way the grease gun shoots, it's loe fire rate, accuracy and damage would otherwise make it a very very solid gun...but you can't see anything while shooting it.

Did Americans even used MP40s? Apart from that I agree, grease gun is terrible because of the sights, having an alternative SMG would be amazing.

Only the MACV SOG and other special forces had access to MP40s, and even then they were very rare. Having 5-6 generic grunts running around with them on one map would be no bueno.

And yes, the Greaser ironsights are are flaming pile of garbage. I have to fold in the stock every time I use it, even at long range.

This. The point man doesnt really need another weapon, the shotgun and grease gun are fine (albeit bad sights)
Honestly I think the Pointman should have access to the M16 in addition to those...but that's just my opinion.

A Carl Gustav M/45 (AKA: The Swedish K) or possibly the Madsen M50 might be what you're looking for. Both are SMGs in 9mm used (albeit not as commonly as the Grease Gun) in Vietnam by US troops.

Might aswell have the m1 garand for NVA forces since they were used in vietnam also
