I can't wait to get my new Internetz :D

I use Bell... I hate Bell.

75$ + 10$ for an extra 80gig a month.
Total of 170Gigs monthly download
16MB Down, 1MB up

Last bill was 154$ + 15% tax (for an extra 53 gigs over)

Now going to Teksavvy (Bell reseller sadly but the price is right)
25Mbit down, 10Mbit up
53$ service
8$ modem rental (no choice)
4$ static IP
300Gig limit. I can switch it to unlimited for a few bucks more

The only issue is I cut the bell for the 27th and I don't think my teksavvy wil be in by then... o_O

All in all, I CAN"T WAIT !!!!
(I am thinking with 10Mbit up, I can host a server(might have to switch to unlimited tho))

I am Jealous of that speed and price !
In Quebec, I can't say it's the worst, but I know we overpay for barely average speeds and download limits.

For me it would be a first to have an upload that breaks the 1MBit barrier... and to have a static ip... Big + as I am an I.T., I remotely use my pc in RDP, I have an FTP server... Big big +

We have Videotron that offers Cable at 200Mbit down with 30up
For 200$ a month, with a limit of 200Gig download and 50Gigs upload
A little expensive here.

That's so weird. What would be the point of having such high speeds if you have a 200 GB bandwidth limit? Makes no sense.

Makes plenty of sense, it's to make us pay even more :D

Here we have Bell and Videotron. AKA Phone lines and Cable.

All the rest are resellers that end up going with the above companies. The resellers usually have better deals.

I am going to go with them.

But the mainstream companies like Bell and Videotron, do not offer unlimited... or else we might download movies and that makes uncle sam unhappy.
