WHEN WILL THE SOUNDTRACK BE RELEASED? I am tearing my ears out and bashing my head against the wall to produce noise that is different to all the other boring crap you hear on video games. I want the soundtrack any release info?

I haven't heard anything about the soundtrack being released but I know you can listen to a couple of the songs on youtube.

It looks like on music of the movie, schindlers list.

I was gonna say that you could try looking in your RO2 files but I just tried and they're nowhere to be seen.

I had a program called oggextract that could extrat sound files from .upk files... but I had to reformat and now the original download is broken as far as I know, it was the only download for that program.

I got the music from the beta, no problem.

go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra 2\ROGame\CookedPC\Packages\Music

And just rename the file extension from upk to ogg

But I hope they release the music in flac, Its in an rather low bitrate in the game.

The music is epic!
I dont know if any of you have played Morrowind before but this music reminds me of music from that game! When this one song comes on in RO2 while I am creeping on the ground prone feels so epic haha. Also somewhat like Schindlers List as someoen above me said.

Didn't work any ideas? I am using winamp which I am sure has .ogg support.

Of course I want a soundtrack, forget about the negatives just for this instance and focus on the positives. The soundtrack is absoloutley amazing and I'd love to somehow get my hands on a copy, however my oggextract doesn't seem to work with the .upk files in the red orchestra 2 music folder. Any ideas?
