It's going to get a lot worse for the next couple of months. It comes with the territory. Even though 3 million people bought KF1 over the course of 6 years, probably over 90% never bothered to put the time and effort to learn the game properly. It was just a fun side game. KF2 will be no different, but with a bigger audience.
It takes real time and effort to learn the basics and a lot of people I talked to said it's kind of a pain to forget what you knew in KF1 while playing the KF2 beta because most of it doesn't apply. Guarantee most of the basic mechanics have changed a little. It'll take time before the mechanics are relearned, although previous players probably have a leg up in that sense.
As someone mentioned though, most of what you mentioned exists in KF1, even amongst veterans. When moving up from Normal to Hard to Suicidal to HOE everything you learned previously doesn't apply quite the same. In life it seems the small changes trip people up the most and having to relearn the changes in game play can make you feel like a novice again. Many don't have patience once you climb up in difficulties to teach you what they learned.
