Huge Lag - unplayable

I bought Killing Floor on mac because the game is a very good one, and I wish to support the good company and at the same time play the game.

However, it seems that the game just lags too much, even if I put it in lowest settings.

The game can play other steam games pretty well, TF2, L4D2, etc.

it seems mac just can't handle it when tons of monsters pop up, since it lags the most when I am being attacked (worst time to lag)

I have macbook pro 13.3 inch regular, which means it has
NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache

Its based the windows version so take in account that for instance you should never change your renderer from the openGL one you are using. I don't know where the system folder is located on MAC's but you should be able to find that around somewhere in here.
