Unfortunately this will probably only work for people who have SLI systems, but try running the video cards in Alternate Frame Rendering 2. It gave me like a 15 fps boost.

Im running 2 gtx 460 1gb, and Im getting around 50-60 fps constant, with dips down to 40. A lot better than before.

instead of spending 2x150 € for 2xGTX 460 you could also buy a 560ti for 200-250 € and get about the same FPs or better lulz

Yes but I got both my cards for about $120 (total) on craigslist.

To get into AFR2 mode, you need to go into nvidia control panel. Then go to manage program settings or w/e, and add the ro2.exe to the list. Then go to SLI options and set it to Alternate frame rendering 2.

*edit* seriously though the artillery drops me to like 20 fps. I really hope they optimize this game. I honestly shouldnt dip below 60 ever :\

it isn't SLI with radeon cards, it is crossfire and they are completely different. So no this "fix" will not work for people like you and I. We have to wait for Tripwire to sort things out with AMD.

It really isnt a fix at all. The game still runs like crap. Just a slight boost.

I have to disable crossfire and I get great fps, i get like 60-80 at all times with crossfire off which makes no damn sense. But I talked with Yoshiro today and he says they are still trying to get it sorted out with amd/ati

I gave this a shot by using Nvidia Inspector, and you were dead on. I saw an immediate increase in FPS on my SLI GTX 590s. Thanks for the tip!

I also have 2 460 gtx 1gb. When I turn SLI on I get around 5 fps. Without around 40 fps. This is on medium without AA at 1920x1080.

I just tried BFBC2 with SLI 460s. I get 90 fps at 1920x1080 with everything maxed and 8xMSAA.

This game has serious problems.

I have an idea for a huge FPS boost, wait for the full game when hopefully all maps will be optimized... There is obviously a underlying problem with Barracks and Red October that cause lower FPS as all the other maps have fantastic FPS.

MrGoat... can i suggest when making a post that is relevant to maybe 5% of the playing population you make the title a little clearer. Adding 'SLi only' would have saved the vast majority from wasting their time looking & hoping for a fps boost from this thread.

(I missed atomMan post above)

Ah yes, I could see how that would be annoying. If I could change the title of the thread I would.
