How to unban?

Here are the steps to unban a player:

1. Go to your system/KillingFloor.ini
2. Locate [Engine.AccessControl]
3. Remove the requisite ban from the BannedIDs=<number> <name> area.
4. Restart server and apologise profusely to the victim.

man i don't understand anything, my friend banned me accidently, we went to that file killingfloor.ini and we found [Engine.AccessControl]
but we don't understand what has to be done, it doesn't has anything wrote in there like banned people, i really need help and i would be very thanked if someone could help me.

Stop server erase the line with the Banned ID save restart.
Also can be done in Web Admin Access Policies

what about for session bans? just restart the map? cant find anything in acess policy...had someone get voted out yesterday, didnt have time to restart map to find out///

Session bans only last for the remainder of the current map. Once the map changes the ban is lifted.

^This. And, as far s I know, there is no way to remove a sessionban without restarting the map.

However, you can kick someone without session-banning them, using the webadmin. If you log in an kick ingame, it always adds a session-ban the player.
