I apologize if this has been asked before but how do I set a dedicated server IP address when my external IP changes often? Thanks in advance.

The server will always use your external IP and if that changes then the only way to make it dedicated is to call your ISP and make them give you a static IP.

Got my server from www.JustinTimeHosting.com

If you're using your computer as the dedicated server, you have to give it a static IP.

Setting a computer on your network up with a static IP from a dynamic IP is pretty easy. Just need to know what operating system you're using.
This is a decent walk through on the process:

You cant... A IP is unique you cant just assign one to your server.

If you're using a computer in your own network(Or your own computer) as the dedicated server, you have to give it a static IP.

You can however use a Dynamic DNS service such as no-ip

http://www.no-ip.com/

It will basically allow you to automatically update a hostname such as yourserver.no-ip.com so it will always go to your IP; even if your IP changes often.
