The game is still early in it's release, and many things still need to be updated. Until then, I don't think a perk reset is going to be available.

If you REALLY must reset your perks, you can just buy the game again.

Make sure, though, that after you put that line in to reset Perks, that you run the game, make sure things got reset, and then remove it from your INI. If you do not, it will reset your Perks/Achievements every time you restart the game.

Hi. I did what was told to do, I then ran the game to check, and this came up:

Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2678 MHz with 2038MB RAM
Video: No Video

Can't find 'ini:Engine.Engine.GameEngine' in configuration file

History: UObject::SafeLoadError <- UObject::StaticLoadClass <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

___

Any help?

Your KillingFloor.ini has become corrupted somehow. Please delete it, run the game to generate a new KillingFloor.ini, and then try again.

Does this actually reset the perk and achievement data on the servers? If it does, I kind of regret resetting them now lol.

Does it still works and is it safe ? I mean, can i be banned for resetting my stats ?

And what EXACLY is the goal ?

Resetting Perks AND ALL Stats like:
  • Kills (!!!)
  • Damage Healed
  • Welding Points
  • Shotgun Damage
  • Sniper Headshot Kills
  • Stalkers Killed
  • Bullpup Damage
  • Melee Damage
  • Flame Thrower Damage
  • Self Heals
  • Sole Survivor Waves
  • Cash Donated
  • Feeding Kills
  • Burning Crossbow Kills
  • Gibbed Fleshpounds
  • Stalkers Killed with Explosives
  • Gibbed Enemies
  • Bloat Kills
  • Total ZED Time
  • Siren Kills
  • Explosives Damages
  • Demolitions Pipebomb Kills
  • Enemies Gibbet with M79
  • Enemies Killes with SCAR
  • and so on ....
or only the Main-Stats (to see at the "Profile and Achievments"-Screen) will be go down to zero, but all my Perk lvl's stay @ 6 ? (for example: Will my Sharpshooter stay @ lvl 6, but after resetting he has a count of '0' Headshots ???)

Step by Step

Step by Step

Can you give me a step by step instruction on how to reset my classes? I hacked them with Cheat Engine, and now I regret it.

How do you get to your INI?

I know this is an aging thread, but FYI this works fine on Mac OSX Lion (10.7.4).

Just add:

[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=true

Anywhere to the KillingFloor.ini file in User/Library/Application Support/Killing Floor/System/KillingFloor.ini

Then, like mentioned, load the game (ensure stats have reset), then remove it from KillingFloor.ini to resume saving new stats, lest it reset your stats every boot.

Finally, something actually "works" in the Mac port. Lolz
