[Question] How to reset - Exceeded Login attempts for Web Admin

Locked myself out. Thought it would reset after 15 mins or so but its still jammed and its been 3 hours. Have FTP access and thought if I change the User name from Admin to something else that may help but that didn't work.

Also once I hit the 'Exceeded Login attempt" there was no way to log out to try another admin login. I had to use another browser.

in the ini by default it forces a password of 123 afaik with no username you could try that. In the ini you can set the amount of login tries as well.

Go to ROWeb. ini and change this line to a higher number

MaxConnections=18

stopping the server and restarting it should reset the attempts btw.

I just locked myself out of our match server (no big deal), but both the above comments dont work for me.....dang it

Happened to me this afternoon and came good an hour later or so.

Happened again with the banner I added on the welcome page
As soon as I picked saved settings it locked me out straight away and I now have a empty box where the banner is.
I think the banner is a PNG only type file not sure yet though

It happened to me once (forgot I had caps on) and all I did was F5 the page and I could log in again.

Same thing happend to me. All the above solutions failed.. even different people with different IP's on different browsers got the same message. Seems it totally locked up.

Any ideas?

well it expired but my username and pw no longer work

I have to say it not a pretty setup for admin purposes this game

I still have now power to kick or anything even following the instructions here are not the same for every server

So if any one can add me to their steam that knows what their doing with a server from gameservers.com

Go to your config sub dir and edit the ROMultiAdmin.ini add copy the standard user from the defaultmultiadmin.ini Then restart your game service and connect with the default user. Then change the password for the admins you had created.

Remember to keep copies of your files before you change them, just in case.

Deleting the appropriate cookie also worked for me.
