How to fix Commissar house? Remove objective D

I was playing this map as a Russian earlier today and just thought of how pointless objective D is. It's that house off to the side of the map is too far out of the way of the other objectives. All that it does is slow down the Russian team and make them lose due to lock down. Most of the time nobody on the Russian side even attempts to take it. They just seem to ignore that objective because it is so far out of the way. I even completely forget about that objective most of the time because most of the action is taking place between the first building and the first half of the mansion.

I just feel like this map would be way better off if that area of the map was not an objective. It can still be used as a sniping position for either team but as it is now, it seems to be the one reason that the Russians lose this map 99% of the time.

I don't even remember where objective D is! So yes, I agree. If objective D is the park on the right, then they should remove both of the park objectives (I think there are two) since they're basically a waste of time.

Or just add a Russian spawn on the other side of the park and spread the fighting out. Keep the Germans guessing as to where to defend.

Just played map on a server with 24 guys, 12 v 12, we got all the way to no mans land and then lost, it was a great game, NO COORDINATION was the problem.

If i would of had my mic or my friends on we woulda ran over those germans, still got 36 kills with ppsh thugh, which counts as 72 :D

Well, perhaps i can offer you a solution of using something already built into the game.. Press and hold "T" (for tactical) and it'll give you a tactical overlay, which funny enough, but points out which points you have to capture, and where :eek:

I know, go figure.

Leave CH alone, it is one of the better balanced maps

CH is great. D is a fine objective to take. If you can get into that house, you can control the entire right side of C, which is crucial if you want your team to advance into the right side of C and capture it. The map is good. If you have a hard time capturing the objective, or seeing it's value, keep practicing. I have no problem on this map, and I think it's good to have several points available to capture, this allows for a good flow.

D sux. Germans can hide there on the other side, near "wall of houses". There is a good shadow there and small concrete wall to hide. From there you can easily pick off soviet troops who try to hide behind A building before advancing to C. Whats even better, the range is so great that they wont even see you, not only because they wont look there but because its very hard to see unless you focus zoom and people rarely use it when advancing.

I hope TWI will fix this yet another german feature of the map.
