How is this different from the mod?

So i have yet to find a description on how this mod is different enough from the mod to warrant me spending 15-20 bucks on it and not just buying UT 2004 for 5 dollars and dlling the mod. So i was wondering can anyone provide any real details that set this release apart from its free mod predecessor?

by watchin the vids on utube and the trailer id say the full version is much better (graphics, gameplay,perks, sdk, achievments etc.)

Better graphics, a new (tweaked) engine, lots of support, more community content, a larger player-base, new features, new official content....

you aren't paying 15-20 bucks for a mod, you are paying 15-20 bucks for a game, huge difference.

The mod is really buggy and played mostly by cheaters/glitchers. Every second map is played with players on some cliff (or some other unreachable place for zombies) and shooting the specimen with 9mils (even in wave 10!). Which means you won't get any horror experience, just watching about 1,5 hours how your teammates shoot.

In mod there's only a few servers and mostly the buggiest maps are played.


Full game will have more server and bugs fixed (hopefully). And sadly you can't choose the number of players on steam kf, it will be limited to 6 (not like in kf mod, where you create a server with as many possible players you want).

If the specimens could climb, using something like the edge weapon resting detection in RO, then we wouldn't have to worry about buggy maps. ^^
