# How exactly does Headshot Bonus works?

I mean, it can range from 0.1 to 6.0 of the crossbow, lets suppose the weapon damage is 500, if the hs bonus is 1.0 than it will be 500 x 1.0 = 500?

Or it equals plus 1x which results in 1000 total damage?

If it's a head shot the damage is multiplied by the head shot multiplier, so your former equation is right.

You mean the last one, or the first one?

No the damage does not range from 0.1 to 6.0 it will always stay at 6.0 and the multiplier just multiplies it.

That means its the same thing leaving it 0.0 or 1.0, there is no change in damage.

If you use a multiplier of 0.0 it'll multiply the damage by 0.0, yielding no damage. If you use a value of 0.5 it'll halve damage.

Remember: Anything to a multiple of 0 = 0 and anything divided by zero = Error 1, and anything dividing into 0 = 0

3 x 0 = 0
3 / 0 = Error 1
0 / 3 = 0

Interesting point actually. I always figured that multiplication was used all the time since the operation is faster than division, forgetting about the whole divide by zero problem.
