How do you use openAl with RO?

Hi all. How does one use openal with RO? I don't see RO on the games list at openAL.org so I'm not sure if it installs correctly. I'm actually using the Creative Alchemy openAL (i've got an X-Fi card) and I don't know how to install it to RO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I got 5.1 sounds working properly in ro when i am using these settings.

If you are using Vista I didn't think you needed anything to run OpenAL in Red Orchestra. You only needed Alchemy if you wanted to get a directsound or directsound3d application running while using Vista? Since Vista no longer supports either of those. Vista, however, does support OpenAL so why would you need anything??

Quite so.
OpenAl I believe is hardware driven with an X-fi.
Just switch to Game mode and all processing power is directed gamewards !
