Some of you might know me as a gaming connoisseur, and it is indeed true that I prefer to spend my time indulging myself into the worlds of digital games. Still I have other areas in life where I excel, such as making coffee.

I always make my own mix of dark roasted Zo

Medium or dark roasts. Medium roasts I use more for practical purposes, and dark roasts are more for enjoyment.

I prefer to experience my coffee black. No sugar, no milk, nothing. Just bitter, delicious coffee.

Money permitting, I'd love to get a nice piece of equipment, and time permitting I'd love to buy and roast my own beans.

I'd prefer to drink it black, but my stomach lining won't allow that any longer, not in the amounts I drink. I usually hanve it with skim milk, to cut the acid levels a little.

Yeah, I somewhat know what you mean. Nothing like downing half a pot or more of coffee and then feeling like you're going to puke because of it.

I still drink it black though. Stomach lining be damned.

some cream usually 10%.

When it comes to the beans though we have a burr grinder now which produces a much better tasting base when compared to grinding the exact same beans. While I do like the taste of a good medium or preferably dark roast over a light, it is occasionally nice to do mixes ( 25% light 75% dark ) so that you get a nice zap of caffine from the light and the rich flavour from the dark.

Oh and Im also currently using a french press so that I can make ridiculously strong coffee. Lets just put it this way so that it is in context for my American friends, my parents took a trip down to the states and thought the coffee was weak. ( North Dakota -> Montana -> Idaho -> Washington state ). And to top if off the coffee they drink coffee is extemely weak in my humble opinion.

If you are sensitive to acids I would recommend staying away from coffee that has been sitting on a heating plate. Coffee should be placed in stomach directly after being brewed or put in a thermos.

good point aesdena, forgot about that. We also have a thermos pot. They are amazing in that the coffee stays fresh ( coffee on a hotplate burns in 20 mins ) and hot for 6 hours.

I prefer a (double) espresso with a dash of milk, not that latte or cappuchino stuff, too sweet for me.

Lately I've been drinking cortado a lot though, but still espresso for that quick shot.

I'm no connoisseur though, and to be frank I find people who buy expensive coffee machines or that nespresso **** a bit pathetic. You are not a Barrista so stop pretending to be one :p

I like my coffee like my men: Columbian and in a bag.

Disclaimer: I'm not gay. I don't drink coffee. Not that there's anything wrong with drinking coffee.:IS2:

I tried coffee once. I didn't like it.

I much prefer tea; black with 2 sugars.

Have a nice day with your coffee though, you like it and there's a reason for that :)
