Small detail, her parents don't understand english, only turkish. I went to a turkish class for 7 months but then I got a temporary job and I didn't feel like working 6 days in the week and studying after it so my turkish is still pretty basic, when I was in turkey myself my gf had to translate everything I said.

Write a letter or an e-mail and have some Turkish person translate it.

Well with all due respect, what do you expect from her parents? Oh dad, this is my internet friend from a different country/culture which I've only been with 13 days? No responsible father would just happily agree with that, especcially not a strict turkish one. Besides he's probably not going to accept you in any case and will want a turkish man for her, so screw that **** and either grow a pair and do whatever the hell you want or break up.

Yea perhaps you're right which is why I told her if we can't meet this summer we might as well break up.
