Hosting (Listening)

A buddy and I are trying to play. I can play on server in multiplayer but when I host (using Listen) he can't see me in list nor join through Steam. Now we both have KF in firewall and ports opened on our routers, but it still doesn't work.


Any tips?

The only reason would be you incorrectly configured your router or firewall. So you should go back and check what you did incase you messed up. what router are you using?

Obtain your internet IP from www.whatsmyip.net and have him enter this manually (in the server browser right-click and choose "open IP"). As long as both your firewalls are set up, and your router has UDP port 7707 forwarded to your machine, it should work fine.

Well I figured it out.

On my router I forgot one number on the "router address" it signs to my PC.

so instead of .147 I had .14


doh and it worked =)
