I know that this has been asked before, but I am unsatisfied with the answers I have found so far.
I followed these instructions: http://wiki.tripwireinteractive.com/index.php/RO2_Dedicated_Server#Downloading_and_Running_the_SteamCMD_Update_Tool However, the section "Automating SteamCmd" is troublesome.
Method 1 is unclear and references a command line that I cannot find.
Method 2 is also too vague. I created the TXT file in the same directory as the dedicated server files. When I enter "SteamCmd +runscript ro2_ds.txt" or just "+runscript ro2_ds.txt
" into SteamCmd, it returns an invalid command error.
This set of instructions appears to have been written assuming the reader has some prior knowledge of SteamCmd. Can anyone make sense of this?
