Very much a map in-progress, this is a beta release of a map i've been working on for a while. There's still some issues I know about to do with weird lighting and messed up splattermaps in areas that I haven't been able to figure out how to fix just yet, but the gameplay works fine so I'm putting this early edition out there!

Also the filesize is quite large, so I'm going to try and figure out how to bring that down in future builds...

Gorgeous map, I like the look and feel of the map. Only a few things I noticed. In a few spots (the 2 I'll post pics of) framerate dropped heavily on a gtx 960 (not the best card, but can normally max graphics and stay above 60).

The other thing is that this metal detector felt weird because it didn't make sound when I walked through it using a weapon.

Also, the alert messages on boards about "level 5 breach" would make more sense if the text scrolled the opposite direction

Interesting, thanks for the heads-up about the performance drop, looks like they're both facing the same way on the map geograpically, so it must be a bunch of stuff in that direction that's causing it. One of the things I'm going to have to tackle when I update it.

I haven't been able to find the sound cues for any in-game sound so I can't make the metal detector work atm, all the sounds I've used I've imported myself from KF1 or open source sounds. And yeah, the scrolling text direction's a little weird, but it's a base KF2 texture from biotics labs, so it's a mystery to me why it reads back-to-front...

Really awesome map. I'm absolutely in love with the urban area surrounding the pharmacy which has given me some inspiration for a map of my own. The interior has a really surprising amount of depth to it and the custom sounds are great.

Only major complaint I would have are some pretty major performance hits scattered throughout the map, especially in the interior. Maybe something to do with too many dynamic lights/lens flare?

Looking forward to see how this progresses in future. Definitely one of my favourite maps so far.
