thanks to KF ive had two very horrible experiences this last week. at work i was greeted by a British customer looking for, "plasters". having only heard that term in KF i immediately became excited, "YOU PLAY KILLING FLOOR TOO?!" he was totally confused and i ended up looking like a complete weirdo for the whole rest of the day.

then the other day i went to the local gunstore, because i plan to buy a Beretta 92FS like the one in KF, i love the "9mm tactical" as its called in KF and really want a quality handgun because my CZ52 isnt much for quality. waited around for a bit to get a quote on the price of the Beretta ($680 USD out the door!), when i noticed a double barrel shotgun like the one in KF!!! (hunting shotgun), i picked it up and shouldered it with a big grin on my face and the employee noticed me checking it out, so he asked if i like it, "ya i really like it, you could kill alot of clots with this"

AGAIN I LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE WACKO!

About you saying to someone that they play KF 'cause they said plasters. we Brits don't just stay at home. We have holidays in the US or wherever you are.

Hahah, it's not slang, it's just what they're called in the UK, it's printed on the boxes, just how you have band aid over there ;)

Living in Canada at the moment I've noticed a lot of funny different terms. A lot come from brands.

As for the shotgun... LOL. At least it wasn't a chainsaw you picked up, with a shotgun you could have always recovered with 'Clots... uhh.. clay pots'.

lol i love the clots one...what did he say to you after that??

something along the lines of, "what do you mean by that?" he thought i was talking about some kind of forest animal

seriously it looked just like the hunting shotgun in KF, $250 out the door, i shouldve bought it. its probably still there. it was the exact same size, wood, metal, sights, etc, looked like a replica!

You got ripped off at $680 if you actually bought a handgun like that at that price. Double-Barreled shotguns cost a lot more than $250, and I must say you would not have found a replica because the shotgun would be considered sawed-off, which would require you to earn a permit and receive a background check along with a $200 transfer fee.

Also, if you're saying things like that in public you may want to put the game down.

you need to buy compound crossbow so you can solo the patriarch if things go rough :p

the hunting shotgun in KF isnt a sawed off. and if you cant tell that im making this all up as i go along, then you might need to put the internets down.

Let's see,

Shorter than average barrel, check
Horrible spread attributed to shorter barrel, check
Typical gun to be shortened, check

Pretty sure the gun could be considered "sawed-off". The only thing that would make it not seem that way is the iron sight.

Also nice try on trying to turn that around on me afterward, it didn't quite work though.

Over under, or side by side. I prefer over under. Pick up some Skeet clays, and hit the range. Most fun you will ever have.:).

EDIT: that was stupid of me because the one in killing floor is Side by side. Nevermind.

the hunting shotgun is not a sawed off shotgun.

the side by side was priced pretty well and from what i remember it could shoot 12 guage and 10 guage? and i know for sure it was capable of having chokes. for 250 thats a pretty good deal.

what im really wanting though is a Saiga 12 :-|

re-read what i said, $680 out the door for a Beretta 92FS, part of that $680 is the DROS fee and tax. the double barreled shotgun at the store cost $250 (not including DROS fee and tax), but i must be wrong because you are the all seeing and all knowing eye when it comes to gun stores that youve never even been to before.
