solution, you don't solo an fp by yourself on hoe six man, hence the other five players. It is after all a team game. Gotta think critically about these things, it's not mindless shooting it's an intricate plan with man facets.

Um, at MOST you want 2 people killing the FP at once. Any more than that and a) you're losing people who would be better spent killing elsewhere, and b) you're greatening the delay before everyone is clued up about what's happening and ready to fire, meaning the FP and more importantly, EVERYTHING ELSE is a lot closer. And c) you're increasing the coordination that needs to take place. I'll agree that everyone firing at once in a glorious salvo is a great sight to see. In reality, when you're playing HoE, it's far harder to establish.

Especially when it's not necessary. A single demo or sharp with M99/Xbow can take a 6man HoE FP out from range. A single sharp with EBR or support can take it out from close range.

Everyone holding M1 with their biggest gun works great on FPs on lower difficulties. Heck, it might still work on harder difficulties if you have a really slick team, or someone doesn't mind getting punched. But on a public game, there is no way it'd reliably work.

Gotta think critically about these things, it's not mindless shooting it's an intricate plan with man[y] facets.
I fail to see how that supports your argument, but doesn't support ours. At all. If anything, I would've said taking a FP on solo has more tactics required than everyone shooting at it.

Are 8 man facets enough to supplement my intricate plan?

Spoiler!

Why W + D after you jump?

It's not me in the video. I'll ask him next chance I have. But I would imagine it's because that's just how he got it to work. It's a tricky move to pull off consistently.

He jumped forward and moved right while in the air and double shotting downwards at the scrake. I've only pulled this off in-game probably enough times to count on one hand because the timing really varies based on your ping.

Lols those are actually pretty good. Unfortunately I can't make a rebuttal because you will cry to the moderators.

I didn't say everyone shoots it did I. If you want to really have a discussion where we don't have to worry about someone getting their feelings hurt let me know.

uhh hoodedthefox, it seems the only person who's feelings are hurt is you. you gave awful and inefficient advice for taking out scrakes and fleshpounds, you were proven wrong, and you aren't even man enough to admit it.

that is all, carry on folks.

At this point, you're pretty much running through the book of internet troll posts and are about one away from "umad bro".

Lols dude you seem upset...

lol

...My advice was fine if you can handle yourself intelligently.

Your advice was not fine. It's been explained why and I was hoping you'd have a rebuttal that wasn't 'works fine for me you must just be bad'. No one's upset.

People still do this?

The cheerios or the aa12 spam?
The first one happens because I'm just plain clumsy sometimes. :(
Going off of this second page, apparently someone recommended using the AA12 to make a scrake rage at you, then finish it with a hunting-blast. I suppose it's more exciting then flinching with a melee weapon then killing it with the hunting.

the only reason you don't use the hunting shotgun uppercut exploit, is because you clearly stated that you find it too difficult to consistently pull off ;)
