The more time you spend doing your homework, the educated you will be.
Speaking of homework, perhaps a remedial English grammar class is in order for you, Flogger.
To answer the OP, I guess you don't hear anyone talking about historical battles in game because RO is not really a strategic level game. It's more of a small unit tactical game. So, even when we have maps that attempt to replicate something historical, at the tactical level you can only experience a very close-up view. Let's say in RO:HoS we had a map called "Chir Station". Your immediate tactical objective would be to take the railway station at Chir, denying the Germans main rail route into Stalingrad. The tactical experience of taking that station would be far removed from the strategic implications of completing the encirclement of the 6th Army. The same might be said for what are now famous places like the Red October factory and Pavlov's House. These were tactical actions with strategic implications which probably could not be known to the average soldat and strelok.
Here's a tip folks: when a kid at least tries to start a semi-intelligent conversation about RO, maybe try giving him at least a semi-intelligent response. Who knows, he might decide to stick around and play RO for years and years.
