Note: in 3 MONTHS, everyone who is still playing this game will have been playing it for "MONTHS" and nothing will change because everyone will have the unlocks anyway.
Ergo, MONTHS might not be the best way to balance things.

They were probably hoping the slow pace at which people unlocked the rare weapons would help veterans embrace them. Stats bug ****ed it all up though.

Also can't blame the stat bugs for the MKB being so prevalant it was a day 1 unlock for crying out loud... why didn't you guys just make it something like a PPSH drum mag and saddle drum for MG34

reguardless after X ammount of time we would be back where we are now. X might be two months, or it might be 12 months.
That aside, the MKB was also a pre order bonus, so lots of people have it with or without any stat tracking problems.
Until you can provide hard numbers to show many DDE there are out of the total number of players so far.....both arguments are kind of moot.
I know releasing numbers on the forums is unlikely to happen. But could you tell us Putz what the ratio was of DDE purchases to Regular purchases?

He's not wrong that the stats bug made it worse, and by the numbers, probably a hell of a lot worse. I think we can probably agree on that.
I remember the day after DDE unlocks were fixed. %80 of the people had the weapons.

I like the game, but it fealls like it could be so match better if tripwire focus on realism rather than became an average shooter of modern days.
