hello, you think if tripwire makes us a mod of the events in Normandy? would be good or not?

OT, Tripwire themselves won't make any mods. But I would be very surprised if the modding community didn't make some sort of Normandy mod.
I'd much prefer something else other than Normandy, perhaps something after Normandy with battles through Europe.
A lot of battles with a lot of allied nations occurred on Normandy and there could be a lot of variety in that regard, but one can only storm the beaches so often before it get's boring and repetitive..... and for me, DH missed the mark as the majority of the maps played ended up being US against German and that's been done to death by every other game before & after DH.

hate beach maps, but Dh had very good maps just always get some idiots voting omahadoggreen_8 or something whenever its in map list

I say all Normandy, not only of omaha beach, I say the troops of parachuts and the advance through France, ect.
nah they'd probably f*** it up. i'd rather leave it up to the modders.
It is currently impossible to do large beach landings the justice they deserve. Everything from having balanced teams (32vs32), the current player limit of 64 (which doesn't even work well at that capacity), and finding a decent way to reinforce the attackers without it sucking don't make multiplayer Normandy maps fun IMO.
Aside from that I would love to see less glamourized fronts of WWII get some action, North Africa or Italy anyone?

Well, we have the Eastern Front in vanilla, Rising Storm takes care of the Pacific. That kinda leaves Western Front and North Africa of the larger campaigns*. And we all know what happened to Mare Nostrum.
*=Any of the smaller fronts would most likely not warrant the amount of work required for a mod, since sadly only a handful of players would ever think to play them.
