Pretty much :D, and that's all in editor, if I knew how to actually model in 3DS Max or blender, I probably could have got the done a lot faster and more accurately, I will tear this down and redo it, once I get the proper measurements (more accurate...) from the 400ish (cut down from roughly 1,200 of Cherbourg itself...) photos solely focused on the station all of which I've found online...
The whole point of BSP is to not bother the artists because it is prototyping, and will be replaced eventually.
Unless someone around here speaks french and or lives near Cherbourg? or can translate a letter into french (a few archives/libraries in Cherbourg I'd like to contact...)? or has a set of blueprints lying around? (desperate cry of help to the french community here...)
If no one does, isn't near, or can't, or doesn't have that blue piece of paper lying around, I'll be printing out all those photos
And then probably spend the next 1-2 weeks attempting to take measurements, and sketching out diagrams, blueprints, maps, etc...
Eventually, all of this going to be replaced by actual meshes... The purpose of the BSP is to play test it, which is why there's very little detail. (and I still have to do the interiors...)
Once I get that done I can BSP it, mesh it, rip it, and send it to OberDragon as a base to work from.
Pretty much after this, it will be smooth sailing so to speak, and could probably get it done in less than 100 hours. That is if I go about it properly and streamline it.

Yeah it is huge! (building alone was 200,000+ square meters! and thats not counting additional floors!)
I don't intend for the map to be before those trenches or past the actual building (Main German Spawn Area.)
I will be prototyping this map for a bit to promote more aggressive and intense firefights inside objectives.

Can't wait to see it in a more finished state, once you flesh it all out and polish it...

I probably will end up doing the printing out of all the photos, because well I need to figure out where everything is located, so I can recreate it.

Though if any of these libraries have building plans or blueprints of the station, it'd speed things up a lot faster.
Because a majority of the level's work is centered on it.

At the moment, the BSP is rough, in terms of height/length/width, other places it is spot on. It's close enough that it will not effect interior gameplay. Now all I need to do is figure out the interior of the TransAtlantic Building (One on Right Flank, with the rectangle extending 110m on each end.)

I will probably put this project on hold when I get Makin, back, but I can 100% guarantee it'll be done by or before August.

Keep up the stellar work. Such unrelenting effort and attention to detail will not go unappreciated amongst the community.

I don't know if you guys remember me, it's been a year, previously I could not finish my voice lines because my house did not isolate enough noise which ended up with noise complaints so I could not finish my vocal lines. I remodled a room in my basement to isolate more sound for many projects I have in mind, it's almost finished still need to change some things on the wall. If you guys still want some extra voice lines to make the game feel more alive tell me. I still have a C01U Microphone and use Adobe Audition. I also have heard you guys added tanks and I have a few friends that also sound good that would make us be able to have a voice for each crew member (The commands are voiced by one guy in the tank, the driver says engine is broken or something like that loader has a different voice when saying "Geladen!" so on. I also still have a script ready that I can improve more now that more maps have been released to make it feel even more alive. It's all up to the devs of course, I am just volunteering again.

They haven't implemented my 535 audio files neither. It wasn't good to hand them in for free. If we had asked for money, our recordings would have been worth something. :rolleyes:

Looks like a good content update to me. Although, had a random, unprovoked crash on Caen about 3-5 mins into the match tonight on the 40-1 server, is there a crash log stored anywhere I could send you guys?
