In this game we get to experience some of the horror and sorrow of war. You gotta watch your buddy die and there's nothing you can do about it. Yeah, I want to paddle him too, but it's more realistic to not be able to do anything and keep fighting.
Agree there should be no new class of medic added but the ability to save a wounded team mate could have interesting consequences such as a support MG gunner being "revived" and back in action much quicker than having to run all the way from the spawn area. What about in the a tank if the commander is hit?
I like what the OP suggested- the ability to drag or at least bandage a wounded teammate.
I also love actin's idea that regular bandaging would be slower but a teammate bandaging you is almost as fast as doing yourself is now. the numbers 8 and 3 sounded good to me.
During WWII on the battlefields there was not medics running like a headless chicken triying to heal wounded people ... there was sanitarys doing first aid tasks and then cariying the wounded to the field hospitals where the real medic was waiting for the wounded .. that's why my suggestion only involved cariying wounded people out off the battle and not magical healing those criticial wounded guys to return to combat in a few seconds .
