Any other suggestions put here. I am still learning the sdk and have A LOT to learn still. Refer to Stack and Facility port to see where I am at. Basically every new map "should" be a bit better then the last

Why not just focus on getting one project that looks good instead of mass producing garbage?

And by saying something so insulting and rude, this is were you link me to the AWESOME maps you have made right? And if you are a map creator perhaps learn some respect for others. Im not sure what your problem is, but with a attitude like that I hope you disappear from this community asap. Respect your fellow community members!

P.S your biolab map is looking great. So why is someone who has obv had more time with the udk/sdk insulting someone just starting out?

Being blunt is easier.

I don't see why anyone would want to pump out a large group of low quality maps instead of trying to take one map and polish it until it shines. I have no personal issues with you, I just don't like the way you're going with this thread.

I started working on the KF2 SDK at the same time as you did (assuming you started the day of/after release of the SDK), so don't act like I've had tons of time ahead of you.

If you want to continue this discussion it may be better in PM, if you want.

If you think making 1 map/style (your first map at that) and tuning it till its absolutely perfect is a good way to go about it, do that. I get board quickly and would rather take what I learned and use that to make something new instead of just refine refine refine.

Another reason, most people atm just want some damn maps to play on. So why not give them some maps to play on while im learning. Considering all the great feedback on this and other forums for the maps I have made it would seem the community would agree with me. People are running around on flat cubes in a no lighting world and are LOVING it. Explain how my maps are not at least a step up from that? People want placeholders until "amazing" map makers like yourself release theirs

Um no lol. Looking at your profile I can see you have made maps before in other games. I have never used a sdk/map creator ever before. So yes you did have a lot of time learning this stuff before me. So I would expect your maps to be better.

KF-BioticsLab2009 is about done now after ~4 days of work.

I hope you can understand that the idea that desperation should override any sort of self-monitored quality control is a very bad one and will lead to simply more trash maps instead of any real progression.

Regardless, my post was blunt. I was not referring to you specifically but the idea of fast food maps being spewed out by everyone. I realized that you took it personally and for that I apologize.

However, my sentiment is the same: Quality control is important, and threads like this one seem to promote something that is in the opposite direction of it.

So me asking what maps the community wants to play effects my quality control........ I no compute.....

Listen lets just both go back to making maps. Il act like you didn't come in here and say something extremely rude. And we can both enjoy each others content and go on our marry happy ways. K?
