[Help] Lighting disappears when I build it?

Still pretty new to using UDK.

Trying to get a new map started, but when I try to build the lighting, all the lighting disappears and some SkeletalMeshes turn full black. The ingame flashlight still works though, anyone know what's the issue? Also tells me that the map isn't built with production lighting even though I've set the setting to production.

I'm having similar issues to you for my pointlights. Every light that isn't the skylight is disabled on build. For the skeletal mesh issue, goto Lighting and Lighting channels and choose Indoor/outdoor and it should be fine, thats how I fixed that issue.

you need to have TWIndoorLight or TWOutdoorLight volume for any lighting to work.

In Mission Mode
Set Tw Indoor or Outdoor in the static mesh properties, then use a lighting volume OR Override Auto Lighting Channels check box in the static mesh > lighting properties

Also make sure that you set wither your light source is indoor or outdoor on the light properties itself.

Also make sure in the world properties, you want to set the enviroment colour, and enviroment sun colour, so you get nice looking shadows.
