Me personally, yes i will use the in game VOIP, if the team im on are already working together and have a good majority of decent players. And as i play on the same few servers i usually know this just by seeing names on my side.

In my opinion the game really comes alive when BOTH teams are using team work and coordination to win and out flank the enemy it just plays out totally differently to a game when one or other team is just looking to get kills.

And is in all ways more fun and intense an experience than the usual camp fest k/d whore type of fps games when played as a team with even basic coordination. Its how the game was meant to be played i feel.

Played my first online battles tonight and agree with you. This game is very unforgiving and team work and cohesion are essential. I want to try a serious gaming group for this game. Definitely getting a headset soon too.

On a server tonight people were just run and gun and gotboring quick actually.

I bought it

I bought it

Bought it and I am very exited about all the content that will come. It`s Tripwire`s game; the level of freedom that players are given is great, we can mod it, set the rules, make maps, etc. Definitely a good purchase.

I'm glad with my purchase, props to Tripwire for PC only and giving the TR community what we've always wanted.

Keep up the hard work!!

I spent the day on multiplayer and would have to say it's great. Having a mic headset is a good idea though, because of the com advantage.

Wrong...

I spend tons of time playing the game, I just browse the forums during work, or while I'm checking for any new possible updates.

In regards to whether you should by the game or not, definitely buy it. The bugs are so-so right now, nothing game-breaking, but some minor annoyances. The game will be a masterpiece in the next few months though, once TWI has ironed out the bugs (which they most definitely will), and mod teams eventually start releasing all their awesome content you'll most likely receive for free.

The Game is great, but has problems, I agree to whoever said it's more like an investment, because they will keep working hard beyond this point. I feel Tripwire bit off a bit more than they could chew and should have delayed the game allot longer, it would have annoyed people more but it would have been for a good cause, the tanks take 6 months to put into the game, thats somthing they weren't expecting. The Ratio of Bolts to assault and automatic weaponry is really lame though, SMGs and Bolts should be in abundance, but at the same time medium + combat is easier now with the SMG, as opposed to the balance between bolts n SMG's in the first Red Orchestra, where each had its limitations. Plus the stats issue :p but again I have a bit of faith they'll get it working
