its really stupid that the Germans whom were masters of camo in ww2 have no camo uniforms at all . I believe field-grau was rare in comparison to camo smocks ect.
actually it strikes me as odd that arcade games like the COD series deck the Germans out with all kinds of camo but a "realistic" game totally ommits it.

Can you contact TW if they can use these skins in their maps? Barashka needs winter Waffen SS soldiers and Rakowich and Stalingrad needs the Heer winter soldiers. It really was stupid that only the Russians had wintercamo and the germans were still walking with their summer uniform.

I think TW would want to get their own skinners to do camo skins if they were to add them also I think they'd want to do new player models so that the skins fitted better. For now you'll just have to make do with the two sampler maps - Barashka_SS & Stalingrad_WH - that I've included in the packs.

I'd like to add these to my map, but I have no idea how to do this because I'm new to mapping :( Any guide would be helpfull.


Once you've installed the pack (utx, u, ucl & upl files) you need to edit your redorchestra.ini (in your systems folder). Open the ini using notepad then scroll down till you find the heading:

[Editor.EditorEngine]

under this heading you need to add the lines:

EditPackages=HeerWinter
EditPackages=WaffenSSWinter


(if you look you'll notice a whole load of similar lines - EditPackages=***** )

Once this is done you can open your map in the SDK & add the new player roles as you would do normally.

If I do that, server will need the skins installed right? Is there any way I can put it all in my map like in Kolno?


By doing what I've said, you'll already have it like Kolno - if you look you'll see you've got kolno related files in your textures & system folders as well as the actual map file in the map folder. When your ready to release your map, just zip it together with the all the skin files (utx, ucp, upl, u - you wont need to include the sampler map i did). The relevant files should all be dl-ed automatically if you get the map by joining a server running it
