Hawken

I found this article on PCG. Hawken is a mech game by an indie developer called Adhesive Games. It's set in a futuristic Ghost-in-the-Shell-esque city. I really hope this comes to fruition and it would be even better if it has mod tools. Human sized fps mod would be amazing. I love mech games but with this city, being able to play as a human with a grappling hook would be amazing.

Wow, that looks amazingly cool. As was said the animations look a bit rough, but I'm all about the mech games, and it looks like that game's topography is top notch.

Watching that vid almost made me install Mechwarrior 2. Looks interesting to say the least.

What I like about this game, from the game play footage, is the level design, and the sound. From what I see, you can go anywhere, there are many levels of sorts on the map. Go under the overpass, go on top of a highway or a building, and the sound that goes along with it. The echoes of explosions under the overpass, the muffled explosions and gun shots at a distance.

This is really well done.

It looks very nice graphically. Gameplay wise it looks nice, but would have been better if they went more towards a simulator approach rather than FPS.

I like the art design of the city. Very nice looking. This is one game to look forward to.
