Have they fixed 1st bullet not firing on beta server?

It seems to happen when you are in a firefight, you shoot a round and hear it but are killed before it is registered as being fired. The next time you spawn, your first click will misfire.

This concurs with my experience of the bug.

We did some testing and it was reproducible with throwing a grenade, because the time you let go of the mouse to throw and the time the grenade actually pops into existance is rather long. So getting shot while in the animation to throw the grenade was a rather reliable way to reproduce that bug.

It also happened while firing a MG34 full auto and then getting shot mid firing. But that only happened 3 times in a row and after swapping classes and weapons, it couldn't be reproduced reliably anymore.

I get this bug alot. So much to the point that I now test fire my weapon in spawn to make sure it's going to work when needed. Personally, I think it has to do with trying to fire the exact moment you die which is one reason it is so hard to reproduce.

Just a small question:

It happened to me again tonight and this time I was paying very much attention as to what exactly happened. Basically me and another guy spotted each other at the exact same time, reacted at pretty much exactly the same time and pressed the trigger at pretty much exactly the same time (lots of "exactly the same time" :p ), and funny thing is both of our guns didn't fire with the first press of the button. We were laughing about this afterwards as being a fluke but, coming to think of it, could it have something to do with too many people pressing the trigger at exactly the same time?

This more or less for me tonight too. I would say it happened when I pulled the trigger right as I died. Only really seemed to happen with instant kills, not slow wounds.

In 45 minutes of play today, I got killed by this bug once, 6 times by the close range hit detection that refuses to recognize ADS chest shots at under 10m, and also started again experiencing that whacky (somehow related???) bug of dying after tossing a grenade and respawning with one in hand immediately after.

I testfire my gun also in spawn. It costs me too much kills to risk it.
Some maps I experience it more than others (barracks for instance is notorious). But that might make sense since distances are shorter and the chance of firing the same time as dying is higher, maybe:confused:

It's not in the changelog, so no. We don't yet have a reliable reproduction case.
Really none? In the specific thread i did read a lot of repo posts, including one from myself (albeit a bit vague).

Bumping this thread because I think I have a reliable way of reproducing this bug. Whenever you enter the "bleed out" state (doesn't matter if you die from the bleed out or if someone shoots you), this bug will occur the next time you respawn. I'm not sure if this is 100% reproducable or the only cause of this bug, but it may be something to go on.
