Hey mates,

So I decided to play some KF since it was a long time ago. Now, the game boots perfectly fine and works well. But then I try to change my resolution, and my mouse stops working for a sec, turns off, turns on etc. This kinda happens to my G13 too, the screen stays on but the backlight switches off and on.

I was too lazy to try other resolutions, but 1920x1080 and 1680x1020 (or something like that) make it happen. Although lower resolutions make the failures less frequent, and on 800x600 I don't have any problems at all.

It's not my power supply, since all games work perfectly fine except KF.

I hope you guys can help me out with this one.

Greetings,

Nielsje

Have you tried running KF, after editing the KillingFloor.ini to set it at the res. you want?

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=1440
WindowedViewportY=900
FullscreenViewportX=1920
FullscreenViewportY=1080

Change said setting and boot KF, see if it turns it off then.

I must say, that is the oddest hardware effect I have ever seen an application have. :p

LOL!

My RAM was the problem.

Never expected that :D

Maybe the RAM was causing some sort of issue with the connectivity to the mouse and G13? (possible driver?) Not a clue. :rolleyes:

Though it would be a little deeper than that. Still dumbfounded at that though. :p

Tried deleting KillingFloor.ini in your Killing Floor/System directory?

If more than one person is suffering this, it sounds like its in the patch and not local to NielsjeNL's memory issues.
