i've played a lot of games, beat all the maps on suicidal solo, but every time i try to on multiplayer, the boss just kills everyone basically instantly... on hard difficulty.

The biggest problem is his OP machine gun that will insta kill quite a lot.
On suicidal, solo, his machine gun does what i would say is decent damage, it allows you to fight back because you won't die instantly.
then i go onto HARD from suicidal, with 3-6 people on server, and every time the boss does so much damage with his machine gun it's impossible to fight back, ran away, or heal when he's after you. my friends and i, all using around lvl 13 classes, have yet to beat the boss as a team because of his machine gun.

Stay near covers? Circling? Parry locking? Stop ganking on him in melee range so he dont release gas? Kite him around? Yes the SMG do need a nerf, but he rarely able to actually hit you with it if you dont do stupid things.

Come on.... people really need to learn how to fight Hans and some of the zeds...

The game is basically won if you manage to kill the second pair of FPs without too much people die.

I know right? Some are like genetically born noobs, that's just like it is. Honorable mention is the famous serial killer Scrake on it's rampage.

Not quite. In case the zeds do not teleport tactically that is, then the game is more than likely to be victorious.

Even if I manage to win quite a lot of HOE game, I still think scrakes is broken.
The "ways" to deal with scrake is either lamb or cheesy such as circling around him. And stacking EMP in the team is extremely stupid IMO. Zerks are just there because they have EMP.

IF you are using the kiting strat... may be. But I paly with pubs and kiting with 6 people always result in splitting up and everyone doing their own thing. I enjoy camping more with pubs.

hans volter becomes ridiculously harder when you go onto multiplayer :p
I'm not "bad" at the game considering i can solo suicidal at lvl 10.
hans volter gets an insane buff on multiplayer that makes hell on earth solo boss fight easier than a multiplayer boss fight on hard.

Yes I know, I won quite a few games on multiplayer HOE too. Really... I cant remember the last time the team actually get wipe on HOE... the last time I believed was on suicidal when I am (and a lot of players) still getting use to the game. If we reach Hans, he is dead.... sometimes one player or two may die, but due to stacking gas/nade in tight spots, not his SMG because everyone knows to stay near the freaking covers.

And solo suicidal is quite possible even at level 0 because you sprint faster than the zeds. And scrakes cannot be raged by husk/FPs unless you kite for 15 mins or you actually shoot them.

And yes, I DO think his SMG damage is retarded, but he is very easy at the same time.

The thing I noticed is you're playing on Hard difficulty, which means to me that the players are still beginners and don't understand the strategy and tactics needed in order to kill Hans. Thus, they end up doing stupid things and end up getting killed easily. I often tell my friends that are just getting into KF2 that Suicidal / HoE are easier than Normal / Hard simply because of the fact that most players on those difficulties know what they're doing.

Yet most of the KF times I found solo HoE easier than co operating with noobs. Invite good teamplayers (often steam friends or real friends) to join your server to minimize the noob count.

haha that's probably my problem, only 1 of my teammates can actually play properly, the other 2 never played the original killing floor so even though they try they're still almost fully retarded when it comes to teamwork and tactics.
for example when only 2 people were left, when the boss was stealing his hp the other one got both of them stuck be slipping into a corner to heal him, ending with both of them dying.

Solo is much much easier, and the XP is better too, the best tactic I can tell you for Hans is not to trade dmg with him from range, as his machine guns are his most dangerous attack, either kite him with a high level medic and shoot him when he throws nades or circle strafe him as he can't turn fast enough, if doing the latter you need to make sure you have some cover as he will still throw nades and he will shoot you immediately after be throws them, if there is more than one player within melee range he has a gas aoe/ no animation for gas grenades.

Host your own to remove idiots. Luckily we're getting vote-kick.

Have 1 person parry hans, it's critical that no-one else but the guy parrying goes near him so he does not fart gas. No, you don't need to hug him in order to do damage with shotguns.
Or circle if no-one is condifent enough to parry.

And that is, by definition, a self-defeating piece of advice. Because it causes unprepared players to flood into Suicidal games. Which makes the statement false.

Which is exactly what is happening. All week it is impossible to play a suicide game with a friend (we don't have private server yet) without 4 lvl2-4 players joining, and getting wiped on wave 3 and every wave thereafter. So stop telling people that.

Hey, I just tell it to my friends, you're the first (and only) outsiders to know about this. Not a self-defeating piece of advice unless you didn't read my post correctly.

And if you have a problem with low-levels joining your game, just do what I do: don't heal them. It's a waste of resources (time / healing darts) that can be used on your other teammates and they'll get the message sooner that they don't belong on that difficulty. Never had a problem with low-levels if I was Medic. They'd leave after the first wave or two of quick deaths.
