A hand-to-hand perk is too much (and all of the perks have been decided, don't know why people keep suggesting new perks) unless dragon ends up as a martial arts class like some have speculated
A fist weapon (or fists being the 'knife' of a certain class, like helmet dude if he's some kind of tank) would be ace.
This is purely in favour of coolism as i'm sure realism has been brought up earlier in this thread... just the idea of punching a zed in the face so hard in Zed time that it explodes is the coolest thing.

When someone can bare fisted stop a .50 AE, then let me know. If a 50 AE Deagle has a hard time killing a fleshpound, I don't think someone's fist is gonna do ****.

I'm talking about fists as a knife equivalent, you obviously wouldn't use your knife against a fleshpound
Since you're pulling the realism card, show me a katana slicing through a steel bar? Not everything has to be accurate, otherwise that would make Killing floor a boring as **** game
Just let me have fun and punch some zed's lights out

I'm not one of those realism nuts and like my game mechanics much much more, but it's just SILLY.

i know it is sort off-topic here but there are weapons would really spice up berserker (or dragon class) like weapons with blades or blunt instruments on chains such as kusarigama
latest

db_KUSARIGAMA-_3_2.jpg

or even have something such as a chakram on the end of the chain
Spoiler!

that could be really fun weapon to use with good looking animations.
for example primary fire could be long range melee using the chain to swing whatever is on the end of the chain at enemies and holding the chain end to swing the main weapon while alt fire could be heavy close range melee attacks.

or even more possibilites depending on how many controls are used for melee. i talked about that before that for example reload and ironsights could be used for 3rd and 4th melee attacks and get a melee system going like in chivalry medieval warfare for example.
so for more simple melee weapons you could have seperate keys for overhead, thrust, underhand, left or right slash attacks etc.

then complicated weapons all sorts of **** where can meld different combos together.

like kusarigama:
primary fire: close range fast light attacks - dual wielding sickle in one hand and chakram in the other hand
alt fire: close range heavy attacks - heavy attacks with sickle (or animaitons alternating both weapons at heavy close range attacks)
ironsights: medium range medium attacks - using half chain to swing sickle (or animations alternating both weapons at medium range)
reload: long range light attacks - using almost all chain to swing chakram (or animations alternating both weapons at long range)

KFMod version 1.0 had Fist. The Knife needed to be purchased in the trader. The next update 2.0, the fist were removed because... they sucked.

Sillier than a nailgun? Sillier than a sawblade launcher? Than a scalpel with less than a 1 inch blade being used to hack limbs off of zeds? Thinking about it fists might be so un-silly that they don't fit the game's goofy weaponset at all
