Halloween update 2013?

I wonder if I'll be able to pull 90fps on the new map. I know steamland occasionally drags my gtx 770 down to 40-50fps output.

I am getting excited though. I wonder if there'll be more gold weapons too. Or maybe some other kind of reskin even BETTER than gold..

I just got a feeling that the bile weapon will be some sort of "buildable" weapon kinda how the Zed Gun was. Finding 30 biles just screams "find the parts" to me.

I just unlocked a haloween achiev earlier. For killing Haloween zeds. While killiing normal zeds. wtf.

Right now most of the Halloween achievements for 2011 + 2012 seem to unlock, except of these. So no Commando Chicken for now. Is this going to be fixed or won't the Chick be unlockable this Halloween.

ZED gun is a Christmas unlock, not a Halloween unlock. You're asking too early for it lol. Speaking of the ZED gun though, would be nice to see another non-perk weapon (hopefully thats not too flashy or unrelated to KF)

Its not about being good or bad. On HoE your level bonuses are VERY important not just for you but for the team. Those 3-4 players within the 0-2lvl range are NOT helping the team at all no matter how good they are because HoE simply requires higher levels. I can compare it to Diablo 2. You can't play on the highest diff right off the bat, because its not possible to beat it. The same goes for HoE - if you are 0-2lvl for example, why would you even try to play on this difficulty?

I was a lvl 0-2 Sharp this game, even though we wiped XD

Oh whoops. In my own defense, I stopped playing back in early 2010 when I got all my classes to lvl 6 and had all of the achievements at the time. I'm only now just getting back into it and didn't know it was a Christmas thing

You can do it anytime. The Setname command copies your Steam username, so you'll have to change that first then... ~ Setname ENTER

Sounds like you only get one chance with this achievement. Who is going first to learn how to do it?

I have a feeling it means 'first try, within the scope of the level'.
Not as if you have to get it first time you play through the level only.


New achievement icons look so sexy and coherent, so good. I have a feeling they should have added little sun-drops for the most recent summer achieves as-well though (or are they not even event achieves?!).

when the achievements became available yesterday i went and did al the hillbilly ones, the reaper skin is now unlockable i got it.

one would assume so is the commando chicken a thery i shal be testing within the next hour

i missed the last Halloween even by 1 day >.< so determined to get them this time around. however it does suck that they have activated the achievements and not done the zed re-skins at the same time i would of though they would activate both together.
