F2P events don't even upset me much (the odd person on high diff with lvl 0 who doesn't even know how to use chat can be annoying). I agree it can be fun/funny to play with newbs. It's just a logical improvement and will help those who do get frustrated with F2P newcomers to play in relative peace.

I also like f2p events because as a medic, I get alot of heal points

You should make holidays signatures beforehand and have them saved on your computer so you only just need to swap out sigs when a holiday comes around.

With close to 2m sales for the game and not even a player base of over 3000 on a good day, I don't think it matters what some people do. This game just doesn't hold onto people well.

I disagree, it matters a lot what people do. Look at the global achievement stats. The mayority of players abandon the game after a short test phase. The first impression is what matters.

My first experience was that I got dosh from two guys that blocked me then from entering the trader...

Showing the newbies where this game really shines would do the player base better, then griefing under a false flag. Just my opinion.

You can do it anytime. The Setname command copies your Steam username, so you'll have to change that first then... ~ Setname ENTER

Well, to be honest, I was thinking about getting another account (and copy of KF) so I could start from zero again (and still have my main account with my lvl 5/6s). Plus once steam's sharing games with family and friends comes out, I could let other people link to that library, rather than my main library. Plus what's the fun in being a lvl 5 FB at F2P, I'd need to blend in. =x
