MANY times I try to switch to grenade and instead I get my hands holding an invisible rifle, which I figured out when I tried to throw what I hoped was a invisible grenade and ended up shooting some poor guy in the back.

No, OP has about the same level of detail I have. Interiors are still dark and ****. I haven't touched the .ini or done anything to give myself an advantage beyond a steady FPS.

Even looking like that my game hovers around 35-45 fps.
