It -is- an AA gun, obviously from the high elevation. It also -is- ship-mounted, obviously from the mount and the naval stuff around it. It's not an 88, though, and it's not German, either. Give you a hint: it's a bit of an odd calibre. Actually, strike that: it's a really frakkin' strange calibre. One that I -think- only one nation ever used, or at least, it's one that I've never heard of anyone else using...

Nope. Swedish AA guns were among the most common in the world in WWII. I think pretty much ever combatant except maybe Japan and - maybe - the USSR used Bofors guns. I'm 99% positive that this gun was never exported.

I think we can safely let my last gun drop. I don't even remember what the exact details on it were, aside from it being a Japanese naval AA cannon. I think it was 100mm, but I don't even remember that for positive ...
