In fairness I would have accepted either 1900 / 1901 / 1905 I think.
Aside from the difference in calibres 8mm / 7.63mm etc which you can't really pick out from a snapshot of the pistol I'm not actually sure there are any massive real tell-tale differences between the versions. I remember reading somewhere that a lot of the 1905's had a different stamping that said Md 1905 Waffenfabrik Steyr rather than just Waffenfabrik Steyr so I suppose you'd recognise it from a picture in that way - but considering I had to black out the 'Waffenfabrik Steyr' on the picture it's sort of a moot point.
