its the Enfield X8E1 used in field trials by the SAS in 1954 (the EM2 had just been taken off them which is still the only bullpop to have been approved by the British SAS for operational use). One major note is that the finalisations to the FAL's design wernt even finished when the X8E1 was made and issued (the FAL wasnt even called the FAL at the time). few other notes on the X8 serries is that the X8E4 saw the change to the carry grip, the X8E5 was the last automatic version because of the Barrel weight reduction. The X8E6 is the final modification being Semi auto only it wasnt known as the X8E6 for long though because it was officially adopted as the Enfield L1A1 SLR.
I'll give you a hint. Theres usually an ornate letter stamped on alot of the pistol grips of mainland european manufactures around the time this was manufactured. This one is no different.
If I'm not mistaken, that's a Walther Model 4/5 6.35mm (or maybe the rarer 7.65 cal?). Never seen a version without the slide stamped tho so might be wrong. Built under license?
If not I'd say it was probably a Spanish made pistol from the 20s - 30s.
