seems to me the devs try to make a lot of completely different maps to make all kinds of objects available for the modders to put their "dream-map" together. Nothing i saw in the manor reminded me of anything in other maps. In kf1 the core-maps differed quite a lot as well.

Seing the settings...i mean, a wicked lab, a snowy outpost, paris with a destroyed eiffel and now a really gory manor...next thing might gonna be a mountain-themed map or some kind of highway...perhaps^^,

or HELL.

So I just played it, looked around while I was being chased, lovely map! That's gonna be a favourite of mine I think.

I also like all the paintings, that group painting was pretty funny with the facial expressions.

I also liked all of the gorefast stuff in there, tells me that the gorefast was Volter's handiwork or something.

I'm sad that ZEDs spawn on top of the bed instead of underneath it though. I think that would have been way creepier :)

Very impressive amount of interactive scenery objects. It is generally a beautiful map and it really forces dynamic teamplay.

The ammo spawns seems to be a tad low though. Ran out of ammo as support very frequently, while on the other maps I have always managed to scrape through by picking up ammo, the few boxes we encountered here was unfortunately not enough.

Pretty please? I can think of a lot of uses for having a spawner that spawns the zeds in a crawling animation. Having them wriggle out from under barricades or through holes in the wall near the floor would open up a lot of designs for custom maps.

Map looks great and would be really fun if not for teleporting zombies. Like on this map they are worse than any other map.

This is the most polished map by far, but is it just me or they try too hard to prevent glitches in this map? You cant go within 1m of anything. They put an invisible wall around every object it makes me keep wondering why I cant go near that? Like if you jump out of the window, you expect to fall down along the wall but the invisible wall push you 1-2m further away from the wall. Sometimes it feels strange.

Not sure how feisable it would be...but I'm really hoping for an update that makes the viewing moniters on Volters "throne" actually show live footage of the game. THAT WOULD BE TITS!

Loving the map, please send my regards and compliments to the level-designer. Spiffing! So many different routes to take, stuff to knock over and break, different locales in such a relatively small and claustrophobic environment that can be explored with their own attributes for the fighting - the large flayed-chamber downstairs seemed a good spot to hold out, until of course people panic when the big lads turn up then it is a death chamber,

Well, more so than before at least.

Naturally, delighted at not only having more assets to mulch for mapping, but more domestic-ish statics is always welcome for small-village/town structures, though still looking for bathroom statics weirdly enough. XD

It's a fantastic map and so big in size that it allows your team to defend completely different areas from wave to wave. I imagined myself being in some kind of RPG while playing the map. :D

I will say also that the hallways, corners and such of the place make the manor feel big and spacious but at the same time, in funnels or areas immediately around you, claustrophobic enough to give zeds advantage.

Also about zeds spawning under the bed - I like this idea, but my first thought was it should be a spawn point for all zeds. The moment a scrake or FP uses it, the bed flies skyward and there he is.

Not a serious suggestion of course but I think it'd be hilarious.

Out killing zombies for pay
A very fun map indeed. It's because it's very much different then what was in with the three other maps, they gave us a depressing, bleak, urban, end of the world kind of feel, where as this does so too, but brings in the colors of forest, hallways, vintage props, and more.

Very appealing to the gamer's eyes what with all the blood, body parts, and all. :cool:

The map is looking great and has a nice layout.

The current spawning & teleporting systems are so broken, they take away most of the fun from playing it, though.
