I've just got myself a new computer its a amd 4000+ x2, 2gb ram etc however the only thing im missing is a graphics card, now the card i had in mind was a xfx 8600gt 256 xxx edition for about 150 euro but i was wondering is it worth the extra 180 euro to get a 8800gts for about 330 euro or should the i just get the cheaper card and then upgrade when prices come down.
Btw im getting the card from komplett.ie so if you want to point out another option be my guest. Thanks any advice much appreciated.

Go the 8800GTS I have one and it's worth every penny, I am talking RO at near constant 80fps and it handles all the current games (and newies like Bioshock) well.

The 8600GT is a very underwhelming card which generally has pretty poor reviews, the mid range 8 series cards really aren't up to snuff.
