The Somme looks amazing and looking at all those screenshoots it seems to already have a lot of work involved... if its truth that development leader resigned i know who should buy the rights of "The Somme" ;)

We won't have to worry about that just yet :) The Somme is still in progress. When he stepped down, another developer decided that for the benefit of the game, he'll take that place.

That's rough to hear guys :(
Oh well, not much that can be done. Let's just hope IC:V doesn't follow suit. Shame about The Somme too, hope to god that one sees the light of day.

I think that maybe, maybe, if all the world war 1 mod teams, from every game or platform, that never released their assets created a giant asset pool, we would have 10+ WW1 games within a few months. :p

I have no interest in Vietnam, but this could have been a great mod. :(

Hopefully some of the former devs have a rethink later on.

Oh dear, I thought this one was going to be completed for sure. You guys had so many skilled people on board and the website was actually updated every once in a while.

Does this just mean that you've all abandoned it, or will Grabenkrieg just be on hiatus while you guys finish your year of uni/college/work/whatever?

Let's just say that we didn't completely stop working on the project. I hope that's enough of a statement for now.

Would bellow wood make in their per say? Something....flow-esc and not so trenchie. :p Or the early fights before the trenches. Of course that too. It really is a good concept. ww1 had many stages of various sorts of fighting. Everyone remembers the meat grinder trenches, but SO much more than that. Fighting in the alpines...in woods....fields....villages...
