Red Orchestra,RO2,Rising Storm and Killing Floor 1-2 have gore and dismemberment,so i'm 100% sure that Vietnam will have it ;)

It isn't terribly noticeable in RO2/RS2 unless it happens right next to you.
I'd like if the new system had dead bodies/dismembered body parts stay on the map for a little longer this time around.

I am sure RS2 will be bloody enough :) I wonder if there are propaganda speakers like the ones we had in BF Vietnam?

How are you, GI Joe? It seems to me that most of you are poorly informed about the going of the war, to say nothing about a correct explanation of your presence over here. Nothing is more confused than to be ordered into a war to die or to be maimed for life without the faintest idea of what's going on:IS2:

I hope we get a better, more detailed system than RO2/RS.
Micro-dismemberment instead of just limbs and heads being blown off where the joint is.
Here is a pic from Operation Flashpoint where the body is seen without the top half of his head. The flesh is split apart in a 'star' pattern probably due to some high velocity round.

Blood and bodies can actually be configured to stay in the .ini files of RO2\RS, it's glorious.

From what I've seen there will be some blood and gore in RS2, question is to what degree. I'm running a series on Youtube called Gore Reviews discussing that stuff (I reviewed both RO2 and KF2). Would love to discuss response mechanics with the devs on making RS2 gorier.

I'll just leave the Verdun gore review here.

They got A LOT of things right, but what stands out the most (at least for me) is the death animations that can last for a minute or two. Really has a huge impact on the experience. Would love to see something similar in RS2

Love the gore in this game, seeing a guy have his lower jaw blown off but he's still chocking on his own blood is pretty immersive

I don't think TWI/AMG will improve the gore a lot. I think it's quite good right now but the worst thing for me is that the screaming and crying sounds of wounded soldiers aren't playing on the same location where the head of the body is. It's like it is coming from nowhere. And the death animations could be a little longer.

There where some gore options in RO2/RS already. But ValentineBK said it was possible to tweak the .ini-file that dead bodys and body parts would stay longer or forever. I think a slider for that would be awesome! :)

Funny thing about the screams, when I was doing the RO2 Gore Review I encountered this bug when the character was screaming long after he died. He was lying motionless in a pool of blood for a good 5 minutes or so, but the screams still played

One thing that you mentioned in your gore review of Verdun was that people should be able to interrupt the death animation (shoot them till they shut up). That's something I'd like to see in this game. Didn't IOM have it?

How long they stay can be configured through the .ini. I played with 15 min delay before they disappear and it was fine on my CPU (FX8350).
